Excellent software for modeling and design of parts and structures

The use of the software is of professional level, the results it offers are excellent so I recommend the use of tutorials and training prior to use.

Pros

The most useful thing is to be able to design realistic 3D models using one of the solid, mesh and surface modeling tools. The best advantage is that it allows you to orbit, travel, pivot and fly over a 3D model in order to see all the perspectives of the design.

Cons

The software requires a powerful team, specialized for the use of design applications, and the cost of this software is somewhat high due to a large number of tools is very complex to learn it quickly, it requires a lot of time to learn it.

It's a powerhouse

I can create an entire assembly one piece at a time as one big block, then break it into parts after the fact. This allows me to design with parts relationships in mind the entire time.

Pros

Being able to create assemblies in context and make as-built joints after the fact is something I couldn't live without anymore. Creating several different parts simultaneously while being able to see their relationship to each other is very helpful.

Cons

It's a little buggy. Some problems require researching the forums to find a workaround until a patch is pushed. Some issues persist for quite a while, while others are fixed instantly.

Father of all Design Softwares

It's a primary software which must be available with every design Department, every design engineer must have a habit to draw concepts and Autocad is always best for it..

Pros

Everything that can be used as a command that I like best, specially copy command, move command, stretch command..

Cons

3d interface i don't like, it must be upgraded as per other design software's, also not like that they are removed Autocad Classic workspace from 2015 and Higher version..

Best Choice for Technical Designs

I am solving many things with the Autodesk Fusion 360 like PCB Designing, 3D and 2D designs, 3D printing. It has helped me and the company a lot because it has many features and is quite useful for everyone. It has definitely increased productivity because all works related to designing engineering can now be done in a single software.

Pros

Autodesk's Fusion 360 is the best tool for designing both 2D and 3D structures. It is the best tool for Design and Engineering. We use it to do PCB designing in the company. Fusion 360 offers everything that a designer will need for proper designing components on a PCB board. It also has some other features which are very helpful like 3D printing.

Cons

some people who are more accustomed to other CAD software like AUTOCAD may face some problems at first because its the user interface is different and complex. It's not completely free for everyone, a subscription is needed after the trial period is over. Fusion 360 software becomes laggy sometimes. User Interface can be improved

For me, the best 3D modeling software

Learning to handle all of your options, tools, and capabilities takes time. But it really is a very rewarding time. If you like SolidWorks, you will come to love Fusion 360, as it has its great advantages present. If you want to freeform modeling, Fusion 360 is a lot of fun. It is amazing software.

Pros

For many years, I used Rhinoceros 3D, then some others, like SolidWorks, etc. Each one of these programs had amazing things, and they functioned all well, with their strengths and weaknesses, but well. When Fusion 360 was born, it seems that they managed to analyze each virtue of the different programs, and unified it into one. What I like the most is that it has EVERYTHING you dream of when you start modeling in 3D.

Cons

Some works with guidelines and vectors were sometimes difficult. In this sense, Rhinoceros had a way of solving lines very well. Fusion had problems, to cut them, to join them, but they have been solving it. These types of lines are essential when developing moderately complex structures
